FAQ’s for Schools

  • We can accomodate up to approximately 100 students per session, although this can be discussed with you and your school. Larger cohorts will require a larger notice period.

  • Whilst our content allows for large group presentations, we prioritise smaller, peer-based workshops for greater impact on students.

  • Simply the students themselves, we take care of the rest!

No audiovisual equipment or materials are required from your school.

  • Man Up workshops are structured to fit a standard 45-60 minute class period. Our facilitators are highly adaptable to extend or shorten our workshops to accommodate your schedule.

Please contact our Operations team at operations@manupwa.org.au in advance to make any special arrangements.

  • It depends on the size of the cohort!

For larger groups of over 50 students we request larger spaces like gymnasiums, auditoriums or open courtyards.

For smaller student groups, a standard classroom or two works well.

  • All of our workshops can be adjusted to meet a school’s specific needs, cultural beliefs or age/year group. Content alteration requests can be communicated to the team at operations@manupwa.org.au.

We will endeavour to satisfy all requests, and will work with you to ascertain the feasibility of any requested alterations as we look to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the ensuing program in its design.

  • Our Coping workshop includes mild and sensitive discussions around themes of suicide and self-harm.

These topics are addressed purely for informative purposes, aiming to allow students to better understand the importance of mental health and the potential consequences of poor mental health maintenance. All content is delivered with care and consideration of the students.

  • We highly recommend the impactful workshops offered by our friends at We are W/M, which are thoughtfully designed and offered to female students. You can learn more by visiting their homepage: https://wearewm.com.au/
